Dissenting Voices
We the People are supposed to embrace the COVID-19 narrative. We are being trained, conditioned, and coerced to believe what we are told to believe and to do what we are told to do. Medical professionals, educators, journalists, public policy officials, and other "experts" are expected to both embrace and promote the narrative. Those who question the narrative are mocked, labeled, and silenced. Those watching - many of whom have questions and doubts themselves - are trained to self-censor. In other words, if you don't agree with the narrative, shut-up. Silencing big voices causes the little voices to silence themselves.
And what is the narrative? In a nutshell, it is this: COVID-19 is a public health crisis bigger than any public health crisis we have ever encountered. We should be afraid. We should trust the experts and those with authority. We should stop being concerned with freedom and economics because that is selfish. We better cover our faces and take the vaccine, otherwise we are reckless and dangerous. If you ask questions, you are a radical. COVID-19 is the only thing that really matters. We have no choice but to enter the new normal that they - the experts - design. These experts know better than we what ought to be done. We are in this together, after all, and they will lead us through it. We just need to comply... and tattle on those who don't. I am, after all, a good person...
But, not all the experts agree. There are dissenting voices with rational, reasonable arguments and well thought out positions. These experts who dare to speak do so at a cost. Their reputations are ravaged. They are publicly shamed and ruthlessly mocked. They are de-platformed and demonetized. They are accused of "misinformation" or "disinformation" since the accepted and allowed information has already been determined for us. The demonization and the relentless accusations cause many of the "useful idiots" (Stalin's phrase, not mine) to refuse to give them even a brief consideration. On this webpage, the dissenting voices are shared. Please give them a few minutes of your time and listen to their words and think about what they are saying. You need not agree with them, but the opportunity for them to speak exists - although barely at this moment - in the United States...
